Soave Wine Tour

Soave Wine Tour

Amarone della Valpolicella, Soave, and Prosecco: Veneto’s diverse vineyard landscapes and world-renowned wine.Veneto is a northeastern Italian region stretching from the Dolomite Mountains to the Adriatic Sea. Venice, its regional capital, is famed for its canals, Gothic architecture and Carnival celebrations. Veneto was part of the powerful Venetian Republic for more than 1,000 years, between the 7th and 18th centuries. Near alpine Lake Garda, medieval Verona is known as the setting of Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet."

      Program :
    1. Taste the mineral wines of this famed hill region
    2. 3-days sample tour
    3. Soave wines taste like they sound: suave, smooth, and elegant.
        1. Soave territory
The territory of Soave extends over the rolling hills east of Verona and is known for producing one of the best known white wines in the world.
The hills are mainly made up of volcanic soils that give the wine an unmistakable mineral note, which completes the characteristic fruity and floral scents.
Soave, which is both the name of the wine and the castle-topped village that is the beating heart of this wine area, was already a known wine growing area in the time of the Romans. An ancient variety, Grecanicum, was probably widely planted and has evolved into the local grape, Garganega.
